These moments can come to anyone

When the right is yours, but you don’t know the way…

At such times people either stay silent out of fear, or hand money to a middleman. Either way, you lose.

🚓
The police station won’t write your FIR

"Sahib is not here, come tomorrow." Three days of rounds. What can you do — and where do you go next?

📞
A "digital arrest" call

Someone in uniform on a video call says you are under arrest and must pay now. Is that even real? (It is not.)

🌾
Father’s land is still not in your name

Months after his death the Khatauni still shows his name. Who do you apply to, and with which papers?

🏥
The hospital won’t accept the Ayushman card

"Deposit cash first." What are your rights, and where do you complain — today, while the patient is admitted?

💼
The employer is sitting on your salary

Two months of wages pending, only promises. What does the law say, and which office will listen?

🚦
A wrong or heavy challan

A challan for a vehicle you weren’t driving, or a fine you think is wrong. Pay quietly, or object — and how?

Most people don’t lose because they are wrong — they lose because they don’t know which office, which rule and which words to use. This book tells you exactly that — calmly, in writing, at the right place.

Police, Courts and the Law

Police are not writing my FIR

Page 64–65
Answer in one lineWriting an FIR for a cognizable offence (theft, assault, cheating, etc.) is the police's legal duty. If they refuse, go to the SP, then the Magistrate.

⚖️ Your rights (a few)

  • File an FIR at any police station, wherever it happened (Zero FIR) — it will be sent to the right station.
  • An FIR can be oral, written or online (e-FIR). For an e-FIR, you must go and sign within 3 days.

5 things from the book — free, right now

Every home should know these 5 things

From the book’s "5 tools" and "first 60 minutes" parts — remember them; one day they will help.

📄RTI = answers for ₹10

Any citizen can ask any government office for information, copies of files and the status of an application. The reply must come in 30 days.

⚖️15100 = free lawyer

Women, children, SC/ST, persons with disabilities, people in custody and low-income families are entitled to a free government lawyer.

🚓Zero FIR — at any police station

An FIR for a cognizable offence can be filed at any police station, even if the incident happened elsewhere. The copy is free.

💳1930 — the first hour matters

For online fraud, call 1930 at once and tell your bank. The sooner you report, the better the chance the money can be held.

🤝Lok Adalat — no court fee

Settle cases by mutual agreement: no court fee, and if a fee was paid it is refunded. The decision is final.

The book has the full method for each — where, how, within how many days, and the next step if there’s no reply.

One card for every problem

Read it, understand it — and act the same day

No long legal essays. Every card follows the same order — so even in a panic you get straight to what matters.

⚠️ Important notice: This book is legal information for ordinary people — not a substitute for a lawyer’s advice. Every case is different; in serious matters meet a lawyer (free government lawyer: 15100). The information is up to October 2026 and checked against official sources; rules can change — treat the latest information at the office/portal as final. The main examples are from Uttar Pradesh. This is a private publication — no government body, court or bank has made or approved it. The book does not guarantee the result of any case.
Questions & answers

Questions you may have

Is this book a substitute for a lawyer?

No — and it does not claim to be. It gives correct legal information in simple words: your rights, the right office, the right procedure and the right words. In serious matters (arrest, land disputes, divorce, large sums) the book itself tells you to meet a lawyer — and how to get a free government lawyer through 15100.

Is the information up to date?

It is based on information up to October 2026 and follows the new criminal laws (BNS, BNSS, BSA) in force since 1 July 2024. Sections, time limits, helplines and portals were checked against official sources (India Code, PIB, RBI, NALSA, ministry portals). Rules do change — the book tells you to treat the latest information at the office/portal as final.

I don’t live in Uttar Pradesh — will it help?

Yes. Central laws (police, FIR, bail, consumer, banking, RTI, labour codes, online fraud) are the same across India. For state-specific matters (land records, electricity, pension, ration) the main examples are from UP, and 📌 boxes tell you what may differ in other states.

What exactly is a "Solution Card"?

Every problem has its own card: a short real-life story, the answer in one line, your rights, step-by-step action, what to say to the officer, papers to take, where to go, common mistakes, a myth vs fact, and a complaint ladder if no one listens. Longer cards add an "if–then" flowchart and a page to record your complaint.

Which language is the book in?

Simple English, with local terms like Khatauni, Tehsil and Lekhpal explained. The same book is also available separately in Hindi — switch with the 🌐 button at the top.

How will I get the book? Will a printed copy come?

It is a digital PDF. As soon as you pay, the download button opens, and the link also comes on email and WhatsApp. No postage, no waiting. You can print it at home.

What is "Every Application, Ready" at checkout?

An optional add-on: 64 ready applications and complaint letters for 13 departments, each with a filled sample, plus Word files you can fill on your phone or computer and print. You can add it at checkout for ₹99 — the main book works fully without it.

Is the payment safe? Will I get an invoice?

Payment goes through Razorpay — UPI, cards, net banking, wallets. Your card or bank details never reach us. Every order comes with a GST invoice.

Why is my name printed on the PDF?

Each buyer’s copy carries their name and a unique Copy ID, so the book is not passed around. It does not get in the way of reading.

What if the download fails or the PDF won’t open?

Tell us within 7 days — we will send a new link or refund you in full. You can reach us on WhatsApp or email.

Trouble never comes with a warning —
but you can be ready today.

Keep it on your phone today — so on the day you need it, you don’t panic, you take the right step. Share what you learn with the elders and young people at home.
